So…better late than never right? As I have pondered and poured over prospects the last several days, I was constantly thinking, “This year is such a crapshoot! Why am I even trying to guess how this will go?!” Then I reminded myself that it is because it is such a crapshoot, that is why this is so much fun. The speculation, the conversations and arguments that ensue over too many beers and wings are part of the introduction of spring. This is the time of year we armchair GMs think we can do better than the guys actually paid to do this for a living.

The weeks between NFL free agency kicking off and the weekend of The Draft are like the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas for a lot of fans. Especially Browns fans, who typically only get to see their team talked about frequently on NFL Network and ESPN around this time of year. One would think that the frequency of taking top 5 picks would round out this roster with enough talent that at some point we would be picking somewhere south of 15 with our first pick. Obviously, that point has yet to arrive. But I digress. Without further ado, here is my first offering at a mock draft for 2013. (*Please not that my thoughts and opinions could drastically change within in the next 15 minutes for no reason whatsoever.)
