For my friend Chris (and host of my site) who told me my site was missing content….

As many of you already know, NBA ownership has taken a page from the NFL rulebook on labor negotiations and have locked out the players as part of their ongoing labor dispute. And while there really isn’t much to say or report on this, the NBA version of the owners taking their ball and staying home will more than likely significantly impact their season, unlike the NFL. Some NBA players are entertaining offers to play overseas, where money has been very good for some. Others are sitting back on the tens of millions that they have already “earned”, while one former Cavalier has decided to take the exceptionally domestic route and apply at The Home Depot. Apparently, Delonte West’s previous legal entanglements are preventing him from seeking employment overseas. This is probably best for everyone involved, since they drive on the opposite side of the road in most countries across the pond. Motorbiking headlong into a foreign family of four with a guitar case full of shootin’ irons will get you more than probation outside the U.S. of A., Delonte. (Jussayin’) Looks like some guys didn’t budget for being out of work while they are, um, out of work. Who do you feel sorry for more in this scenario? The down-on-his-luck millionaire basketball player, or the do-it-yourself’ers of suburban Beantown looking some wing nuts and a plant hanger? Wait…they’re all in Boston. Who gives a $@&#.
